Introduction Convert approved scopes into controlled RFQ, purchasing and contract packages and maintain visibility of commitments, variations, claims, invoices and supplier performance.
Duties & Responsibilities • Convert approved scopes, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities into complete RFQ and tender packages. • Maintain procurement, tender, approval, commitment and long-lead-item registers aligned to the integrated project schedules. • Coordinate tender enquiries, bidder site meetings, clarifications, tender closing, technical-commercial evaluation and award recommendations. • Compile commercial comparisons and ensure exclusions, qualifications, rates, delivery dates, taxes, securities and contract terms are transparent. • Administer purchase orders and contracts, including correspondence, deliverables, variations, claims, invoices, payment status and close-out. • Monitor supplier and contractor performance, expedite critical deliveries, reconcile commitments and report commercial exposure to the Project Manager.
Desired Experience & Qualification • Degree/diploma in quantity surveying, commercial management, procurement, law or engineering. • Minimum 7-10 years in mining, EPC/EPCM or heavy-industrial contracts and procurement. • Strong RFQ, tender evaluation, purchase-order, variation, claims, invoice and contract-administration competence. • A quantity surveyor or commercially experienced contracts specialist with strong Excel and cost-control capability is preferred.
