We are urgently seeking an Activations & Operations Manager to lead and execute field operations, logistics, installations, and site management across Johannesburg. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role at the core of a growing business. You will oversee everything in the field—from managing buildouts and field teams to tracking site performance and driving commercial growth.

NON-NEGOTIABLE: Strong, hands-on activations experience is strictly required. Applications without direct, proven field activation experience will not be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Installations: Oversee transportation, placement, and setup of activation equipment. Coordinate contractors (electricians, fitters) and manage storage/inventory logistics. Field & Team Management: Source, train, and schedule promotional field teams to ensure seamless operational coverage. Site Operations & Quality: Conduct regular site visits, manage maintenance/repairs with service providers, and ensure top-tier brand execution. Performance Reporting: Monitor live transaction and performance data, track revenue vs. targets, and deliver strategic reporting on site profitability. Business Development: Identify and evaluate new high-traffic activation sites (malls, airports, premium venues) and assist with site viewings.

Desired Experience & Qualification Candidate Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in activations, field operations, or complex event project management. Mindset: Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and exceptionally well-spoken with a commercial mindset. Technical & Analytics: Tech-savvy with experience using performance dashboards, app-based tracking, and reporting tools. Mobility: Valid South African Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle are mandatory.
