Accounts Payable - 3 month Contract

Are you an Immediately available experienced Accountant with a background in Insurance, Reinsurance, or Financial Services? My client is looking for someone detail‑oriented and reliable who can hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment

Duties & Responsibilities

Process invoices, credit notes, and payment requests accurately and within deadlines Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Prepare and reconcile payment batches Assist with bank reconciliations and transactional finance queries Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with internal controls Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month‑end tasks Support the finance team with general admin and ad‑hoc finance duties Liaise with internal teams, brokers, insurers, or stakeholders where required

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services (essential) Strong exposure to invoicing, payments, and transactional accounting Immediately available and open to a 3‑month contract Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Based in Cape Town
