Accountant - Contract

Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Summerstand, Port Elizabeth team on a contract basis. There is a possibility of the position going permanent  Drafting annual financial statements on Caseware Review annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS for SMEs Perform monthly accounting functions including journals, reconciliations, and management reports Complete tax calculations and submissions for individuals, companies, and trusts (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, Provisional Tax, etc.) Handle CIPC submissions and compliance (annual returns, company changes, etc.) Liaise with clients, SARS, and other regulatory bodies Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for clients Provide guidance and support to trainee accountants and clerks Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory changes in accounting and tax Posted By Mariska Du Toit
