As an Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the following:
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare, review and maintain accurate financial records and reports Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards Support budgeting and forecasting activities Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements Assist with internal and external audits Monitor cash flow and financial transactions Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
Desired Experience & Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA, SAIPA) advantageous Proven experience in an accounting or finance role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and organisational abilities
